About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planning Co-op to join our Amazon Robotics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing new manufacturing initiatives that support high-volume, high-mix manufacturing and emerging products and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and execute small to medium-sized supply chain/operations projects
  • Integrate key planning metrics with broader business metrics to deliver optimal customer experience
  • Provide scalable solutions for specific business-identified opportunities
  • Work with internal technical teams to drive a single system process change (e.g., inventory tracking) by defining requirements, driving prioritization, and managing implementation
  • Evolving and maintaining standard operating procedures for manufacturing operations to support future program management in a high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business planning cycles and track performance metrics/KPIs
  • Provide recommendations for operational improvements, including utilization of ERP/system capabilities
  • Continuous improvement projects
  • Troubleshooting escalations for receiving, shipping, or general material flow
About the Team

The Amazon Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations team (RMTO) works across the Global Robotic Operations department to enable manufacturing scalability and adaptability to best serve the Amazon Operations Network. Through strategic thought leadership, we evaluate manufacturing constraints across the product portfolio to deliver solutions that optimize resource allocation and maximize customer responsiveness.

Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree in an Engineering major, Supply Chain Management, or other equivalent discipline
  • Currently enrolled in college/university and must have at least one semester/term/quarter of school left to complete after the end of the co-op
  • Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h/week) from January - June 2025
  • December 2025 graduation date or later
  • Microsoft Office skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle or SAP ERP software
  • Experience working with SQL and Tableau analytics
  • Proven leadership skills with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to work internally and externally at all levels of management and with peers
  • APICS or Six Sigma Certification with an understanding of Lean Manufacturing processes
