Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Adventist Health Castle. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of anesthesia-related equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance on anesthesia machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supply Management: Maintain adequate inventory of anesthesia-related supplies and equipment.
  • Assistance with Procedures: Assist anesthesia staff with pressure line insertion procedures and troubleshoot patient monitoring equipment as needed.
  • Quality Control: Work collaboratively with staff and vendors to ensure product quality while minimizing costs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent; Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience; Completion of medical terminology course; Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Anesthesia Technician certification; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
