Job Description

Job Summary:

Agawam Rehab Campus is seeking a highly skilled and organized ADON Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in directing and supervising nursing staff members, while maintaining the highest degree of quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing staff members.
  • Make independent decisions and judgments to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure that nursing staff members are providing high-quality care and addressing patient needs in a timely manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.

Requirements:

  • A valid Massachusetts state RN license is required.
  • Experience in SNF/long-term care is required.
  • This is a direct hire position; we are not an agency.
