**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
**Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging studies, utilizing proper technique and giving appropriate procedural instructions to patients.
- Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications.
- Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers by coordinating and prioritizing procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Assist radiologists or other medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Ensure that exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams being performed and act to ensure compliance with Infection Control standards.
- Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered.
**Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital preferred.
- Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
- Current state licensure required.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
**Work Schedule:** PRN
**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
