About the Job

The Orange County Fire Authority is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Information Technology Division, you will play a vital role in leading projects and ensuring the successful implementation of new technologies.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in systems development and project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a proven track record of success, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage expertise in software development and system administration to lead large-scale projects from conception to completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategic solutions
  • Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on technical and project management best practices
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure timely resolution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, systems development, and/or system administration
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale projects
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Detailed understanding of software development methodologies and agile principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

This position requires sitting for long periods and occasional travel to meetings and project sites. The Orange County Fire Authority provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $$110,676.80 - $149,156.80 Annually. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
