Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized wound care plans for patients with complex wounds
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on wound care and management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care practices and patient outcomes
  • Stay current with evidence-based wound care practices and guidelines
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience in wound care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Wound care certification (e.g. CWOCN, CWCN)
  • Experience in leadership or education roles
  • Knowledge of evidence-based wound care practices and guidelines
