RN - Nurse Hybrid Leader

We are seeking a skilled RN - Nurse Hybrid to join our team at Ochsner Health System. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and make informed decisions.
- Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of patients, families, and other groups or disciplines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Delegate and manage nursing team resources to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Stay up-to-date on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory agency requirements to ensure compliance.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher.
- Experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
- Certification in a clinical specialty area.
This role will be based in a patient care area and will require exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent will work in an area where patients enter, work directly with patients, and/or work with specimens that could contain diseases.
