**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Pathology Specialist to join our team at Pivotal Placement Services, Inc. As a key member of our clinical pathology team, you will be responsible for examining microscopic samples to identify diseases or other abnormalities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct thorough examinations of microscopic samples to diagnose diseases and identify abnormalities
* Utilize techniques such as gross pathology, histology, cytology, cytopathology, clinical chemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology to study medical conditions
* Analyze and interpret results from tests to identify etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of diseases
* Communicate pathologic findings to surgeons or other physicians to inform treatment decisions
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pathology by reading literature, attending conferences, and participating in professional organizations
* Collaborate with physicians to order and interpret tests, and provide treatments as needed
* Review cases by analyzing autopsies, laboratory findings, and case investigation reports
* Supervise and manage the work of pathology staff, residents, or visiting pathologists
* Educate physicians, students, and other staff in medical laboratory professions
* Manage medical laboratories to ensure efficient and effective operations

**Requirements:**

* Strong background in pathology and clinical medicine
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
* Ability to stay current with the latest developments in pathology
