Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team. As an SLP at Soar, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and executing treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with autism
- Develop and execute detailed treatment plans aimed at improving the communication abilities of children aged 2-6
- Collaborate extensively with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists
- Actively involve families in the treatment process by providing them with education, resources, and support
- Regularly evaluate and document the progress of each child, fine-tuning interventions as necessary
- Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- License to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona or Colorado
- Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
- Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
