About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Developer to join our team at ApTask. As a Java Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software projects using Java, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, and other Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software projects using Java, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, and other Java technologies.
  • Participate in detailed-level design, coding, code walk-throughs, peer code reviews, and unit testing.
  • Develop software prototypes, software design documents, and user interfaces according to UX guidelines.
  • Ensure coding guidelines are followed and create installation/deployment documents and release documents.
  • Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code to ensure project tasks are completed within defined effort and timelines.
  • Conduct system analysis, log analysis, and database query optimization.
  • Improve operations by conducting system analysis and updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying system flow, data usage, and work processes.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science Graduate with 2-4 years of experience in software development across a wide variety of development projects.
  • Knowledge of current technological trends in the software development industry, such as OOP's, Multi-Tier Software development, Component Architecture, and Web-Based Software.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
  • Adequate programming skills and proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, and other Java technologies.
