POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary objective of this role is to promote and sell Harmons' premium meat offerings while delivering exceptional customer service.

This individual will be responsible for educating customers at the meat service counter, maintaining the meat display, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards, actively promoting products, and restocking both self-service and full-service meat sections.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhere to established departmental and store policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of all products offered in the meat department.
  • Maintain appropriate product variety and inventory levels for the meat service area.
  • Verify pricing accuracy and signage for meat products, with attention to promotional items.
  • Ensure daily cleaning and sanitization of the meat department to meet company standards.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment used in the meat department.
  • Receive and stock products within the meat department.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons.
  • Inform customers about the ingredients and flavors of Harmons' fresh-cut meat products.
  • Actively promote meat products through sampling at the service counter and throughout the store.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Regular interaction with store team members and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and listening, to effectively engage with customers and team members.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and take responsibility for personal and team success.

  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
