Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for hardware components and systems, ensuring all functionalities and specifications are thoroughly evaluated.
  • Perform hands-on evaluations of electronic assemblies, subsystems, and instruments in accordance with defined protocols.
  • Identify and resolve hardware malfunctions, collaborating closely with design engineers to pinpoint root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • Employ testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers to conduct precise measurements and validations.
  • Work in partnership with cross-disciplinary teams, including research and development and manufacturing, to foster continuous improvement and refine testing methodologies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test outcomes, observations, and insights in well-organized reports, ensuring accurate records for future reference.
  • Keep informed about industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in hardware testing, contributing innovative concepts to enhance product performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 0 to 5 years of experience in hardware testing, ideally within the scientific instrumentation sector or a similar field.
  • Solid grasp of electronics principles and circuit analysis.
  • Proficient in utilizing testing equipment and tools for hardware validation and characterization.
  • Capable of working autonomously, prioritizing tasks, and managing time efficiently to meet project objectives.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, XRAY) is advantageous.
