Physical Therapy Director Job Description

At Concentra, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapy Director to lead our team of physical therapists and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of physical therapists to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services to meet the needs of our patients and clients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage key clinical metrics and hold therapists accountable for quality outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with individual state practice acts, regulations, and Concentra's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, referral sources, and payer groups to drive business growth and patient satisfaction.
  • Lead and promote collaboration within the clinical team and across disciplines to achieve clinical and business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state where the center is located.
  • At least two years of demonstrated clinical experience in an occupational healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems using logic and critical thinking.
