Job Summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Reliability/Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a local client in Hopewell, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing maintenance and reliability of fixed assets across the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the ongoing maintenance and reliability of fixed assets across the plant
  • Serve as a resource for mechanics and contractors on complex repairs
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Provide expertise on API and ASME code requirements
  • Support site EH&S compliance
What We Offer
  • Annual pay starting at $102,500-$115,000
  • Competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
  • Available shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • 10+ years' experience in Reliability Engineering/Maintenance Engineering
  • Practical knowledge of relevant industry codes, such as API and ASME, and the application of Non-Destructive Testing methodologies
  • Practical knowledge of fixed equipment fabrication, operation & maintenance, repair and alteration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills and function as a team player and program leader
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and manage multiple priorities and programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with materials selection and damage mechanisms
  • Background in industrial mechanical applications, experience in Chemical Manufacturing a plus
