OpportunityAs part of our expanding Tax Group, we are seeking a new attorney to join our team of tax professionals. This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced tax attorneys in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with corporate attorneys to provide guidance on various corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and sales.
- Design and implement tax-efficient structures for U.S.-based businesses.
- Support senior attorneys with tax-related aspects of corporate transactions.
- Draft tax memoranda and opinions.
- Assist clients during IRS and state agency audits, including appealing audit determinations.
- Prepare tax provisions for Operating and Shareholder Agreements across diverse industries.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with 3-5 years of comprehensive experience in tax law. Admission to the New Jersey and New York bar is required, and an LL.M. in Taxation is considered advantageous.
