Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical diagnostic examinations associated with the operation of x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs of designated portions of the body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe all regulations concerning radiation protection of patients and staff.
  • Provide age-specific care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric individuals.
  • Assure confidentiality of patient information, departmental, and hospital affairs.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement and practice infection control policies.
  • Triage patients upon entry into the clinical area and work directly with providers to process necessary orders.
  • Perform necessary blood work as ordered by providers.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program required.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
