Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Brandywine Senior Living. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing all dining menus, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our residents.

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all meals, ensuring high-quality standards are met
• Manage and supervise the kitchen team, including sous chefs and other kitchen staff
• Coordinate and direct food preparation and delivery, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including food, beverages, and kitchen supplies
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to food handling and production
• Develop and implement new culinary trends and menu ideas
• Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service

• 2-year Culinary Arts degree and/or other culinary certification required
• ServSafe Manager Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal food sanitation regulations

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
