Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating extruders, using calipers correctly, and identifying and eliminating known defects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate extruders and other equipment according to established procedures.
  • Use calipers to measure and inspect products.
  • Identify and eliminate known defects in products.
  • Document good and non-conforming products.
  • Train new employees as needed.
  • Detect and report problem areas or unusual conditions to supervisor.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Use personal safeguards for hands, feet, and eyes.
  • Perform related and other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • On-the-job training from one to eight weeks or extend to ten weeks if needed.
Skills and Competencies
  • Visual acuity for reading information to perform job tasks.
  • Hearing acuity to monitor machine sounds and diagnose changes.
