Financial Analyst Opportunity at Blue Origin

Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Engines program team. As a key member of our finance team, you will drive the monthly business rhythm and major financial planning processes, operating as a finance business partner for the Engines group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the monthly business rhythm and major financial planning processes
  • Operate as a finance business partner for the Engines group
  • Develop and maintain financial models, data models, and SQL queries
  • Provide high-quality and accurate data to support business decisions
  • Develop an early warning system to enable proactive financial management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a highly analytical field
  • 2+ years of financial and business analysis experience
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of financial documents and performance measurements
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Experience with Planful or similar tool
  • Experience working in a Research & Development or Manufacturing environment
  • Advanced level skills in SQL querying and data mining
