Position Summary for Manufacturing Engineer II:

The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for designing the layout of machinery within production facilities to optimize efficiency and productivity. This role involves planning the sequence of operations and defining procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, as well as other functions impacting product performance. The engineer will modify machine or equipment designs to align with factory and production conditions, potentially incorporating inspection and testing requirements into the production strategy. This position also entails evaluating the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to confirm their effectiveness, investigating issues, and initiating corrective measures to uphold product quality standards. Additionally, the engineer will develop manufacturing processes suitable for statistical process control and may create those methodologies. Guidance will be provided to engineering teams regarding design concepts and specification needs to maximize the use of equipment and manufacturing techniques, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with 3-5 years in a related field, is necessary.
