Job Title: Immigration Paralegal

CCG Business Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our Immigration Law team, you will be responsible for filing various applications and petitions with government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a tickler system/database for timely filing of extensions, petitions, and applications.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the concepts, practices, and procedures of Treaty U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement (formerly "NAFTA") and DHS and related government agencies.
  • Draft and coordinate applications and petitions for filing with USCIS, USCBP, and USDOL, including Consular filings processed by USDOS.
  • Research availability of foreign documents and assist clients in obtaining them.
  • Coordinate certification of foreign documents, translation of foreign documents, and equivalency and evaluations of foreign degrees.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using INS ZOOM.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program preferred.
