Facilitate and execute the Healthcare Assistant curriculum to guide students in meeting educational standards and objectives.

This teaching role is ideal for individuals who excel in mentoring new staff and trainees.
Evening Sessions | Two Evenings per week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and present tailored lesson plans across various subjects, employing diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning preferences.

Organize instruction to fulfill specific goals based on student requirements and the established curriculum.
Engage in student recruitment, enrollment, and placement initiatives.
Assess and provide feedback on students' assignments and coursework within a 72-hour timeframe.

Address academic or behavioral concerns with students promptly and notify the appropriate administrative personnel.

Maintain regular office hours for student advisement and support.
Oversee students' practical training experiences.
Continuously review and recommend updates to course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
Participate in faculty meetings, advisory board discussions, professional development workshops, and graduation ceremonies.
Complete necessary documentation for student records, attendance, incident reports, and early alerts.
Coordinate guest speakers, community service activities, and visits to healthcare facilities.
May assist in supervising students' practical training experiences.
Uphold safety and security protocols for students, staff, and visitors.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

None

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of an accredited Healthcare Assistant program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or a graduate of a recognized training entity (e.g., hospital-based program) in Healthcare Assisting, or equivalent training from an institution outside the U.S. with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience for instructors not graduated from an accredited program in their teaching field.At least three (3) years of full-time practical experience as a Healthcare Assistant.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, video conferencing tools, and online applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in classroom instruction.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
Unencumbered certification or registration through a nationally recognized and accredited certifying agency (CMA or RMA).

If applicable, must possess a current license, certification, or credential as mandated by local, state, and federal regulations to work in the field.
