Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Tire Manufacturing Specialist to join our production team. This role involves various responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient and safe tire production.


Key Responsibilities
  • Execute assigned tasks on production lines, operating machinery according to safety protocols and production guidelines.
  • Maintain high efficiency and meticulous attention to detail to meet production goals, cost-effectiveness, and quality benchmarks.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for team members by sharing insights and demonstrating operational techniques.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving production-related issues concerning machinery, materials, and design.
  • Monitor equipment and processes to proactively identify potential malfunctions or delays.
  • Efficiently load materials into production systems and operate automation tools as required.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management for ongoing improvements in production practices.
  • Manually lift materials and tools as necessary for machine operation and inspection.

Qualifications
  • Ability to handle material loading and unloading with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry for production equipment operation.
  • Exhibit teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments is required.
  • Must pass background checks, physical examinations, and drug screenings.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Interest in lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting are required.
  • Tolerance for odors from raw materials and finished products.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 20 lbs independently, with assistance for heavier items.
  • Engagement in repetitive motions involving hands and wrists.
  • Good vision for reading instructions and identifying product imperfections.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and limited climate control.
  • Effective communication skills in a noisy environment.
  • Frequent exposure to mechanical parts and equipment.

Compensation

Pay is based on test scores and shift assignments, ranging from $17 to $21 per hour.
