Business Intelligence Developer

At Creative Financial Staffing, we're seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating and managing a full-stack Analytics environment that transforms data into valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Analysis: Interpret and convert business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration with our data-driven solutions.
  • Data Integration: Design, develop, and implement ETL/Data Integration solutions using technologies like Python and REST APIs, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analytics Platform Development: Create, model, and deploy scalable data analytics and reporting platforms, leveraging your expertise in data warehousing and database management.
  • Data Management: Manage data warehousing processes efficiently, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing and troubleshooting of analytical solutions, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Enhancement and Optimization: Enhance and optimize existing solutions, such as ETL processes, databases, and reporting platforms, to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers to understand and gather data requirements, ensuring seamless integration with our development teams.
  • Database Analysis: Execute database queries and analyze data across different platforms, providing actionable insights to our stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Update technical documentation accurately, ensuring that our knowledge base remains up-to-date and accessible.
  • Innovation: Explore and incorporate Data Science solutions to expand capabilities within our organization, driving innovation and growth.
Qualifications
  • Data Warehouse/Database Design: Background in data warehouse/database design and data mining, including dimensional modeling.
  • Database Management: Thorough understanding of database management systems and ETL processes.
  • BI Tools and Reporting: Familiarity with BI tools and reporting platforms.
  • SQL Expertise: Proficient in SQL with a high-level of expertise.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to proactively innovate and implement creative solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
