About the RoleAs an Assistant Superintendent for Axiom Builders, you will be integral to supporting the construction of a multiphase mixed-use development. This role involves working closely with the Superintendent and project management team to ensure the smooth execution of construction activities for this ambitious project, which combines residential, commercial, and recreational spaces into a vibrant urban community. The first phase will be a 26-story tower followed by a 31 and 52-story towers in the second and third phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily construction operations and managing on-site activities;
- Coordinate with subcontractors and construction crews to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines;
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance;
- Help manage project schedules, materials, and resources efficiently;
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for review;
- Address any on-site issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions;
- Support the implementation of safety protocols and best practices throughout the construction process.
- Report to superintendent and support project management team with construction documentation and coordination
- Minimum of three (3)+ years of experience in a construction management;
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline;
- Familiarity with construction management software and project documentation tools;
- Basic understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and quality control;
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred.
