Key Responsibilities- Medical Direction: Provide medical evaluation, establish dosing levels, and interact with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Training and Management: Train and manage subordinate physician extenders, providing guidance on patient care and medication management.
- Patient Care: Provide MAT services directly to patients, including regular review and notes in patient records, and oversee patient care provided by physician extenders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and county regulations, including CSAT guidelines, and maintain strict patient, employee, company, and computer confidentiality.
- Education: Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine preferred, Board Certified in a residency required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Addiction Medicine, with the ability to prescribe methadone and buprenorphine.
- Licensure: Current California license, with the ability to sign off on NP/PA charts.
- Training: Completion of the 8-hour buprenorphine training (can complete after employment).
- Background Check: Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
- Competitive Salary: $120.00 to $150.00 per hour, with the salary set based on experience, education, specialty, and training.
