Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, evaluate, and implement suitable security solutions, tools, and systems to ensure a robust and secure infrastructure.
  • Communicate security policies, guidelines, and standards effectively to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Review, recommend, and maintain information systems and cyber security policies, including access management for various technologies.
  • Align IS and cyber security architecture with established standards and protocols.
  • Identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, analyze the causes of security breaches, and propose preventive measures.
  • Develop methodologies for conducting cyber security risk assessments and compliance audits, and manage the evaluation of technology impacts on system security.
  • Enforce IS and cyber security policies while implementing protective measures against intrusions and fraud.
  • Provide leadership and direction to management teams, ensuring effective performance across multiple units.
  • Oversee departmental planning, including operational and organizational priorities.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues within the security operations framework.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and expertise to optimize service delivery while adhering to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in security architecture and operational processes, guiding remediation efforts and enhancing detection techniques for emerging threats.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Security or Networking, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, or 10 years of experience with similar leadership responsibilities.
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in business development and presales support.
  • Proven experience in leading cyber security teams.
  • Experience in personnel management, including recruitment and performance evaluation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more cyber security products or services.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in MS Azure cloud environments, MS Sentinel SIEM, MS Defender EDR, Carbon Black EDR, and familiarity with Splunk.
