Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Midstate Radiology Associates. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic Mammographic procedures in a hospital or outpatient-based facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and perform procedures by positioning patients, preparing contrast media, and selecting the correct exposure factors.
  • Ensure optimal technical quality and accuracy of all mammographic examinations according to MQSA, ACR, and FDA quality control requirements.
  • Accurately input data into the RIS by tracking procedure performed as well as data required to capture exam and supply charges, resource allocation, and other relevant information.
  • Develop and evaluate images for technical quality such as density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
  • Obtain all relevant patient information, assess physician's order and/or requisition for completeness, and educate and assist patients in hereditary cancer risk assessment testing.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
  • CT State Radiographer's License required.
  • ARRT (R) & ARRT (M)
  • Current X-Ray experience required and Mammography experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures is highly preferred.
