Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Insights Strategist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, and executing all Voice of Customer initiatives, with a strong focus on the Voice of Consumer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Planning and Execution: Lead the design and execution of custom qualitative and quantitative customer research, focusing on supporting advanced innovation and product development insights.
  • Insights Synthesis and Reporting: Synthesize findings from primary and secondary research and internal data to identify gaps, customer needs, and critical context for better decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Presentations and Influencing: Influence stakeholders by presenting large amounts of information in concise, visually impactful insights.
  • Customized Reporting: Create customized reports for individual stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop research stimuli, understand user needs, test assumptions, and iterate on new concepts.
  • Trend Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor mega trends, market signals, macro forces, and category trends to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Network Development and Experimentation: Build and maintain a network of partner agencies and experiment with new tools to gain deeper and more agile insights.
  • Field Testing and Moderation: Coordinate and moderate field tests and in-home consumer use tests.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing Research, Social Sciences, Design Research, or Consumer Behavior preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Over five years of experience in marketing research.
  • Skills: Proficiency in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills, proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, experience managing and selecting external research suppliers, experience presenting and influencing senior management and C-level executives, project management experience, including prioritizing multiple projects, strong analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Experience
  • B2C and B2B Experience: Experience with B2C durable goods and B2B.
  • Design Thinking: Familiarity with Design Thinking.
  • Qualtrics: Experience with Qualtrics.
