Position Summary
The Membership Services Associate plays a vital role in fostering community engagement and enhancing member satisfaction. This position is responsible for attracting potential members, facilitating the conversion of program participants into full members, and maintaining effective communication with all members in a courteous and professional manner. The role also includes managing membership sales and retention, handling inquiries via phone, and performing various administrative tasks to support the membership department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct informative interviews and guided tours of the facility for prospective members.
- Engage with current members to track recruitment and retention metrics.
- Identify and follow up with potential members to encourage enrollment.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to generate leads for new memberships.
- Respond promptly to all phone inquiries related to membership services.
- Perform duties related to member relations and service excellence.
- Adhere to check-in protocols, service standards, and cash handling procedures.
- Manage data entry and retrieval tasks on the computer system.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized Service Desk and lobby area.
- Uphold safety regulations and organizational policies.
Education & Certification
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Current First Aid and CPR certifications are mandatory.
Experience & Skills
Proficiency in customer service, strong communication abilities, and basic computer skills are essential.
