We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Assistant to join our team at WellSpan Health. As an MRI Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our MRI department, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our technologists in all non-technical aspects of imaging examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist technologists in ensuring efficient workflow, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating the screening process for both MRI units.
- Obtain and verify patient data, document findings, and complete MRI screening forms thoroughly.
- Provide high-quality positioning to patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
- Ensure accurate and complete information prior to completing the study in Radiology Information System.
- Participate in Six Sigma initiatives, attend required in-services, and actively participate in self-education.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Heartsaver CPR/AED certification within 180 days.
