Key Responsibilities
  • Provide systems engineering expertise to support the development and launch of launch vehicles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test launch vehicle systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Conduct technical reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of launch vehicle systems, including propulsion systems, structural systems, and avionics systems.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering, technical program management, or a related field.
  • Experience with launch vehicle systems, including propulsion systems, structural systems, and avionics systems.
  • Knowledge of USAF and NASA launch and range systems and operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Atlas, Delta, and/or Vulcan system design, manufacture, test, and operations.
  • Experience with USSF, NRO, NASA, and LV Contractors and subcontractors.
Clearance

This position requires a Secret clearance. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
