Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to specifications prior to and during service, adhering to portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies, while ensuring proper labeling, dating, and wrapping of food items in compliance with ServSafe standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the culinary team for instructions and training.
  • Maintain compliance with health codes and sanitation regulations, following all safety and kitchen protocols.
  • Keep food, utensils, and equipment organized and clean.
  • Execute opening, closing, and side work duties, along with end-of-day inventory as per guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand preparation sheets and follow detailed instructions.
  • Skill in safely using kitchen tools, including knives and small equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be capable of lifting 20 lbs or more and standing or bending for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip various food items and operate kitchen machinery.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and humid conditions.
