With a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $100,000 per year, Saint Luke's Health System is seeking an experienced Critical Care Respiratory Specialist to join their esteemed team. This role offers the opportunity to support adult ICU, Medical Surgical, ED, Surgery, OB, and the Code Blue Team, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and metabolic testing in accordance with physician orders and respiratory medical protocols
  • Perform or assist in procedures including but not limited to endotracheal intubation, extubations, tracheostomy tube changes, bronchoscopy, and capnography monitoring
  • Conduct patient assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions analysis, and reporting of clinical response
  • Evaluate appropriateness of medical orders, transporting patients requiring mechanical ventilation or airway protection, and assuring safe operations of devices in X-Ray, CT, and MRI
  • Maintain proficiency in the application of mechanical ventilation modalities, Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, and Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure

Requirements:

  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
