Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer III to join our team at Duke Energy. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems.
  • Contribute to team decision-making and accomplish business goals and objectives.
  • Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Conduct engineering-related studies and complete routine engineering projects with minimal oversight.
  • Display increasing competency to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain systems with moderate impact on existing systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of engineering experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nuclear experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer license.
