About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and contributing to a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients to assess impairment and current condition to estimate rehabilitation potential.
  • Plan and implement physical therapy treatment programs for each patient, including training in functional mobility, use of assistive devices, and therapeutic exercise.
  • Apply diagnostic and progressive muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests.
  • Direct and aid patients in therapeutic regimens, delegating routine care to supportive personnel as appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, other members of the rehabilitative team, and others regarding treatment plans and patient progress.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Active and clear NYS PT license or temporary permit following NYS Practice Act guidelines.
  • BLS (current or scheduled).
