Job Summary

As a Financial Operations Specialist at Hunterdon Health, you will be responsible for managing financial accounting functions for the HRCH/Captive entities. This includes analyzing and reconciling financial data, preparing financial statement packages, and participating in the annual financial statement audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reporting packages for management and the board, including narratives generated from department directors/managers' monthly variance reports and benchmark reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial data, particularly reviewing expenses for accurate coding.
  • Approve requests for payment, if necessary.
  • Prepare all required information for annual audits and assist auditors as needed.
  • Assist department directors/managers in preparing operating and capital budgets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of general accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of PC's, general ledger, and Medicare/Medicaid billing procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification.
