Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at the St. Joseph Sleep Center. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing sleep disorder center procedures, including sleep data analysis and report generation, diagnostic polysomnograms, and multiple sleep latency tests.

Responsibilities
  • Perform sleep disorder center procedures, including sleep data analysis and report generation, diagnostic polysomnograms, and multiple sleep latency tests.
  • Assist the Sleep Center lead/director in daily operations, including scheduling, answering phones, and other duties as directed.
  • May be responsible for staff education and training as needed.
  • Safely manage the environment of care while providing quality services for all customers.
  • Provide physical and supportive care and sleep-related health education to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • A Certified Polysomnographic Technologist or Respiratory Therapist certification.
  • A current BCLS (AHA) Certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program preferred.
  • Eligible for registry through the BRPT preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year technical experience working in a sleep lab/center preferred.
  • Experience scoring sleep studies preferred.
