At CommonSpirit Health, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to our community. As a vital part of our healthcare team, the Housekeeper II Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining a pristine and safe environment for patients and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
The Housekeeper II Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Environmental Services team in the absence of the supervisor. This includes:
- Leading and coordinating the work of Environmental Services personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols in all cleaning activities.
- Performing essential cleaning tasks, including floor maintenance, dusting, and sanitizing patient areas.
- Scheduling and managing shift changes, while assigning tasks to team members.
- Utilizing various cleaning equipment and products effectively and safely.
- Maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
