Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our Path to Academics, Community and Employment (PACE) program at National Louis University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to advance the program's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement a long-range plan for the PACE program, including fundraising, alumni development, and enrollment strategies.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide direct supervision to the PACE leadership team and oversee departmental management, including quality of academic instruction, day-to-day operations, residential experience, and student development and wellness.
  • Fundraising and Grant Development: Manage and oversee fundraising efforts, including grant strategies and opportunities, to support the program's growth and development.
  • Community Partnerships: Develop and maintain community partnerships to support the program's mission and goals.
  • Program Advisory Board: Develop and maintain a Program Advisory Board to provide guidance and support to the program.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Special Education, School Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or Disability Studies.
  • Leadership Experience: 3-5 years of previous experience in leadership and management, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze organizational strengths and weaknesses and develop long-term strategy.
  • Employee Performance Management: Ability to manage employee performance, provide ongoing feedback and support, and engage in two-way conversations to ensure employee understanding of expectations and performance gaps.
