Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Med Surg

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to join our team in Decatur, Illinois.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic Med Surg environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Med Surg, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your clinical skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Med Surg nurse.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
