Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Med Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Med Surg, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including those with surgical wounds, gastrointestinal issues, and respiratory problems.
  • Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and monitor patients' vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Illinois.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Travel Nurse RN Med Surg.
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring, rapid response teams, and surgical drains.
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vacs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
