A career-defining opportunity awaits a seasoned sales professional at Avania, a premier Contract Research Organization (CRO) in Boston, MA. As Chief Growth Strategist - Medical Devices, you will spearhead new business development and drive growth in our expanding Business Development team.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of accomplishment in selling complex, multi-service offerings to tier II/III medical device sponsors and MedTech/biotech verticals. With a deep understanding of the CRO landscape and a hunter's instinct for new business wins, you will lead regional sales strategy and process, providing key metrics to the VP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a regional sales strategy to drive new business growth
  • Identifying and pursuing key accounts with potential for global expansion
  • Leading the preparation of sponsor presentations and bid defense strategies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and market trends
  • Providing regular sales performance metrics to senior leadership

This is an individual contributor role focused on new account wins and business development, offering the chance to leverage Avania's market-leading capabilities and subject matter expertise in the medical device vertical.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of CRO sales/commercial/client relationship experience with a proven record of accomplishment in selling complex, multi-service offerings
  • A strong understanding of the CRO landscape and the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent sales and business development skills, with a proven track record of new business wins
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A deep understanding of the medical device industry and the ability to identify key trends and opportunities

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
