We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Supervisor to oversee daily staff activities for an assigned nursing area or function at our Spine Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and leadership, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels to ensure optimal patient care.
- Leadership and Development: Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff members. Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Assess the quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs to improve patient outcomes.
- Compliance and Policy: Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to handle complex issues and complaints in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: 3 years of nursing experience.
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
- Competitive Pay: $63.33 per hour, dependent on relevant experience.
