Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to our nursing team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as needed, and ensure that all patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care that meets their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Staff Development: Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration among healthcare team members, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of patient care and operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements, including Medicare, NJ Department of Health, and CHAP standards.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, to ensure the efficient operation of our inpatient hospice services.
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing, with a valid RN license in the State of New Jersey.
- Experience: Minimum one year of clinical experience in an acute-care setting, with prior hospice and supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Proficiency in operating a computer, including Microsoft applications and electronic medical records.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with CHPN certification.
- Experience: Prior experience in hospice care and supervisory roles, with a strong understanding of hospice regulations and standards.
