About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Expression. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web-based applications and systems using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications using React, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, DevSecOps engineers, and product designers, to contribute to our Agile development process.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the quality of the codebase and product.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our software engineering practices and processes.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level proficiency in React, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate them effectively to less-experienced developers.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and PostGIS, with the ability to synthesize and modify complex geospatial/temporal queries.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Developer-level services, including CI/CD, containers, networking, and managed services.

  • A competitive salary range of $110,000 - $150,000, depending on experience level and locality pay.
