Job Summary

Thermo King of Houston is seeking a skilled Trailer Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of commercial truck and trailer equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial truck and trailer equipment, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair air brake and ride height valves, as well as perform maintenance on swing and roll-up rear and side doors.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Work with minimal supervision and in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure seamless maintenance operations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of practical experience in the transport equipment field, with a focus on trailer repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in the use of all necessary tools and equipment, including arc and wire welding skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent bending, walking, and heavy lifting.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with fingers.
• Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.

Working Conditions

• Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to hazardous materials, solvents, and engine exhaust fumes.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and follow all safety protocols.
