The Role

As a Transformation Finance Specialist, you'll collaborate with the Manager of Revenue Accounting and Professional Services to enhance project review processes through advanced reporting and analysis. You'll play a pivotal role in business transformation and growth in a publicly traded technology company.

Your Impact

  • Maintain and update data inputs driving revenue recognition under ASC 606 – Contracts with Customers.
  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of information to senior management, including revenue forecasts and remaining performance obligation disclosures.
  • Evaluate countersigned customer agreements to establish Professional Services Projects and Software License Orders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements while adhering to internal controls in a SOX environment.
  • Support internal and external audit processes, collaborating with the Manager of Revenue Accounting to meet deliverables and address explanations.
  • Perform assigned month-end, quarter-end, year-end duties in a timely manner.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a publicly traded organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts, and advanced data modeling skills.
  • Process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate open dialogue with stakeholders.
  • Proven history of balancing multiple priorities while adapting to changing business needs and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with Accounting ERP systems.

Estimated Annual Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience with a project-based organization.
  • Knowledge of Epicor or other ERP systems.
