About the Job

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner will provide general medical care and treatment to clients under the direction of a physician. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing and experience in prescribing basic psychotropic medications.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate client data to inform treatment decisions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and education to clients
  • Collaborate with the medical/clinical staff to ensure quality of care
  • Document client progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Experience in prescribing basic psychotropic medications
  • Clinical experience working with the client population of the facility
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license and DEA license
  • CPR and de-escalation certification
What You'll Do
  • Gather and develop client data to inform treatment decisions
  • Assess and evaluate client physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and education to clients
  • Collaborate with the medical/clinical staff to ensure quality of care
