Job Overview

Position: Test Engineering Lead/Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to the Test Engineering team, ensuring alignment with customer project requirements.
  • Develop tailored test strategies and systems, including the creation of necessary test fixtures.
  • Design and implement test strategies in designated areas, collaborating with customers to support their testing programs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for customer-supplied test equipment, including the development of test instructions.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers, optimizing test designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage technical projects, coordinating with the Customer Success Team to ensure successful project completion.
  • Offer second-level support and training in the test field, ensuring operational continuity of test engineering responsibilities.
  • Facilitate training and promote innovation within the testing domain.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with Test Engineering protocols and methodologies.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Strong technical understanding, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Proficient in interpreting schematic drawings, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
  • Familiarity with IPC-610 criteria for printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a production environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
